Foodology Classes and COVID-19: (please read!)

Foodology and it's guests will be subject to adherence of any precautionary measures instituted by either the federal or state governments in regards to COVID-19. We will not allow anyone to participate in classes or events if they are unwilling to comply with the guidelines. Refusal to comply with guidelines will void any credit or class exchange opportunities, if applicable. Masks are optional. Thank you for your cooperation!

Please Note:

If a state or federal shut down occurs due to COVID-19, another pandemic, natural disaster or any other reason that forces us to close, Foodology will give a CREDIT for the full amount if the session hasn't started, or a pro rated credit for the remainder of the class(es). Credits must be used within 2 years. Refunds will not be given. Please understand that we will give you as much notice as we can, but we appreciate your understanding as last minute cancelations could happen.

Thanks for registering for our Summer Intensive program!

Please read the list of requirements due to COVID-19, as well as other pertinent information. Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns via email at info@foodologylab.com!

  1. On the first day of your child's intensive week, parents/guardians will fill out the contact information packet to hand in. We also ask that you use the available hand sanitizer and put on your mask before entering and finding your station. Each student will have a sanitized bin in which they can put any personal items in (including snacks and drinks).
  2. Once you enter Foodology and find your seat, please head to the sinks at the back of the facility and wash your hands with soap and water.
  3. Sanitized aprons will be available for your use. Due to COVID, we are not allowing personal aprons to be brought in at this time.
  4. Because it may be difficult to keep 6 feet apart, masks must be worn during class but you are welcome AT ANY TIME to take a socially distant "mask break" out on Foodology's front deck in the designated area. A staff member will be available to supervise. All staff members will also be wearing masks throughout the session. If you forget your mask, we will have disposable ones available.
  5. Please wash your hands frequently during your time at Foodology.
  6. If you have a fever, cough, or other flu like symptoms or have been around anyone who has been confirmed to have a case of Covid-19 in the last 14 days, we ask that you do not participate in class.
  7. Due to number restrictions on how many people we can have at Foodology at any given time, we are not allowing any parents or guardians to stay past pick up/drop off.
  8. As always, closed toe shoes, such as sneakers, must be worn and hair must be put up if applicable. NO FLIP FLOPS!
  9. If you have an anaphylactic allergy, please bring your epi pen or Benedryl.

COVID 19 rules and regulations as it pertains to food prep, cooking and baking at Foodology

*There will be times that students will have to work together to create their masterpieces especially during food competition weeks. In these instances we will require the use of gloves. Foodology will explain how to effectively use gloves to minimize the risk of germs and cross contamination.

*Foodology will also cover correct sanitization methods and how to keep a clean working environment. Staff will frequently be sanitizing work stations and equipment throughout the day.

*When it’s time to enjoy the food, students can remove the masks for the purpose of eating and drinking while keeping socially distant.
